Audience Research:
Image result for film certificates

Certificate for our thriller:
-> Based on this research on certificates and what can and cannot be included i think that for our thriller we should focus on 15 or 18 as our age certificate. These certificate rates allow us to use strong language which could emphasise the situation of our character if for example they are being chased or cut their leg or lost themselves in the middle of nowhere which could signify their anger or pain.
-> Aggression is permitted in 15 and 18 film certificate this allows us to use a fight scene or a fleeing scene where the main character runs away from danger which could be injured by sharp objects or a building collapsing and could be trying to stop the source of danger through punching the evil character or wounding them.
-> Drugs are permitted in both Certificates which can allow us to create a story where a girl uses drugs or has possession of them based on the Certificate and needs money to survive. Or our narrative could be that a girl is linked with drugs and shes forced to travel and get them abroad.
